Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) - a software interface used to engineer audio tracks (Logic Pro x, Garageband, Audacity, etc).

Cost Per Mille (CPM) - the amount traditional sponsors pay for every thousand downloads.

Really Simple Syndication (RSS) - a centralized location for content published on multiple platforms.

Types of Sponsorships:

Referral deals offer percentages or base earnings per sign-up, while traditional deals usually offer payouts by Cost Per Mille (CPM).

According to The Atlantic, advertising costs between $25 and $40 for every thousand listeners.

Examples:

15 second pre-roll: $25-30/CPM

60 second mid-roll: $35-40/CPM

30 second post-roll: $30-35/CPM
